Hi Ron,

I purchased a 1969 Dolphin this January. The previous owner ( from Cape Cod) thought the name was "Playful Dolphin". he bought the boat from a fellow in Brunswick Maine some years ago.

I have no hull #. The new Name is "Tengri" a Deity from Western China/ Mongolia, Genghis Khan practiced Tengriism until switching to Islam. Tengri was in part responsible for blue sky's and fair winds.Thought that might give us a leg up with our adventures.

The ad you sent me was for our boat.  The fellow we bought our boat from did a omplete rehab on her, enlarged the cockpit,  length, depth, and widened the seats, re-tabbed bulkheads and closed in the moter well to add a Torqeedo 8hp 48 V electric pod drive. All nicely done 

Her hailing port will be Camden, Maine.

Here are a few pics of Tengri when I bought her. I've added a GPS  and am redoing the electricals a bit to tidy it up. A bit of varnish and bottom paint before splash

Hi Ron Here are a few more pics of changes  Moving forward - moved the electrical to the other side of the bulkhead in the cockpit locker, - installed a water tank and hand pump - a two burner camp stove - and new cushions. Ship
