We first found Wind Dancer II on an Internet Boats ad posted in July, 2003. A contact email found Cap't Nichols who advises he sold her to a guy in Rock Hall, MD and he lost contact with the buyer. She had an 8hp OB listed in the ad. The guy was Lance and he named her Rae Lee. Click here to go to her.

Ahoy Ron,
I purchased YD-24 in Oct. 2001 from two guys that needed money for a bigger boat. I had just moved to Baltimore on a job transfer with Lockheed Martin. The previous name was Grey Goose (not because she had a grey hull, but because that was the beverage of choice of the previous owners). I owned the vessel for two years and sold it because I moved back to Florida. She was hauled out and on the hard when she was sold. I sailed her in the Baltimore Harbor and on the Chesapeake. She was a great day-sailor and weekender boat. I had a 12 HP Yamaha outboard auxiliary. Didn't use it much. I could sail in and out of my marina slip on most days.
An interesting side story is that my daughter was crew on the Clipper City, 99 ton top sail schooner. I was captain on Harbor Cruise vessels which berthed next door to Clipper City. When our schedules permitted my daughter and I sailed to and from the Inner Harbor to go to our respective jobs. I sure got a lot of compliments on what a great looking boat she was. I wish I could have taken her back to FL with me.
Sorry, I don't have any other history.
