Phoebe Griffin's Yankee #78, Spectra, For Sale Ads

November 16, 2011. Another Dolphin owner has dodged that bullet named "I think I'll sell my boat" ! As these can be painful reminders, we will bury most of the evidence in a link.

This part of Spectra's story starts/ends with a routine follow up with Phoebe, producing the following

Hi Ron
It's good to hear from you, as always!

After putting Spectra up for sale, I had some time to reflect, and realized that I actually could not bear to sell her!  So what did I do instead?  I spent way too much money getting her fixed up!  She is almost ready, and I will send pics of her with her new makeover as soon as the Marine Repair folks are finally done working on her.  Something about these Dolphins - you just can't quit them!

Warm wishes,
Phoebe

Welcome back, Phoebe!

August 2, 2011. We got the following email from Phoebe

Hi Ron

First of all, thanks so much for your very helpful information about finding a trailer for a Dolphin.

Since then, I have very reluctantly made the decision to put Spectra up for sale. I have decided that it is not fair to make her sit "on the hard" for years at a time while I work overseas. She needs someone who can look after her and sail her!

With that said, can you please do me a favor and post the following under the "For Sale" section of the website (which I love, by the way - thank you!):

Thanks,
Phoebe
