Hi,

I was hoping you might be willing to offer me some assistance in listing my 1970 Yankee Dolphin 24 for sale. I believe it's #157. I was in the middle of doing some work on it and just ran out of time and energy. There have been some electrical upgrades but it's up on stands in a boat yard in Tracys Landing, Maryland. I've had the boat about six years and unfortunately never gave it the attention she deserved. It's a familiar story, I had great dreams and actually did put many many hours into the work I had planned for her, but it's time to move on.

I am not a sailor, but I grew up sailing with my grandfather and I was hoping to carry on the tradition. That's to say that I don't have a great knowledge of sailboats. My intention in contacting you, is to list this boat and sell it with the proper acknowledgment of what she represents. I am not looking to make money, but I also don't want to just give her away.

I can send pics later if you would be willing to help.Webmaster Note: This is what we do - try and find homes for these ladies

Thank you.

Josh Sullivan

ps November 4, 2015 (minor edit) - #157 (no 159) was made in Irvine, California in the year 1970, I was born 50 miles to the south, in San Diego, California, also in 1970. Then, 40 years later, in 2010, we both found ourselves in the city of Alexandria, Virginia which is where I purchased the boat. Talk about divine providence!
