Ron,
Today I found hull #144 in Oxnard, California. listed in Craigslist as "free boat"! The ad was placed by the storage yard but it was quickly cancelled the same day it showed.
I went to the yard at 10:30AM on the 9th and two people were already there, a third had been there earlier but had driven home to get a ladder, too bad! The two who were present planned to flip a coin to determine the new owner. They both also knew exactly what they were looking at!
The hull number, 144, was on the registration and the title paperwork. I am unable to climb anything, including a ladder, so I could not get aboard and see the plate affixed to the mast-step support beam but there was agreement among the others that the hull was #144..
I am always looking for these boats. I saw one in Taos, New Mexico a couple of years ago. I think it was hull number 142 ,which is in your listing, as well as #152, both are owned by Charley Thomas!
I hope the search goes on, I don't think "they are" making boats like these anymore.
Best Luck to you!
Joe Wilby
