John Rousmaniere inspecting Marionette in the Concours d'Elegance (Best Restored Yacht) competition - S&S 75th Anniversary, Mystic Seaport, July 10, 2004. John was not responsive to a plea from your Webmaster for a prize category for yachts whose restorations were less than $100K. Elizabeth Meyer of the International Yacht Restoration School (IYRS), Newport, RI was down in the forward cabin below making copious notes. After a thorough inspection of the single handed set up John did come below and had nice things to say about Marionette's traditional interior in white and varnished mahogany trim. Bolero, having just completed her $4.5 MM restoration got the top prize....
